Try editing for meaning, not just word count
The greeting identifies two people with similar names: Lee Dong-jin is the host; Lee Jung-jae is the guest and director. Keep those roles clear when shortening a subtitle. Korean forms of address can carry that information even when an English sentence would normally omit them.
Choose one question in the opening and write a shorter subtitle that preserves who is being addressed and what is being asked. Compare it with the sample while replaying the same moment.
