Agent Control
Your LLM agent can control the installed app.
Installed Translator 1.16.16+ includes packaged MCP tools once you enable Settings → Agent Control → Allow agent control and allowlist write folders. An agent can download videos, transcribe, translate, export SRT or burned-in video, navigate the app, snapshot settings, and control the desktop workflow through the same app you already use.
- 01Agent Control is off by default (user toggle in Settings). The socket appears at launch if enabled, or after toggling and relaunch
- 02Billing is the same as the UI (Stage5 credits or your configured BYO API keys). The agent never reads stored API keys. It can open checkout; you pay
- 03The source-build path (clone + npm run agent:mcp) remains available for developers who want to run it from the repo
